FigJam

Overview

FigJam is the online whiteboard built by Figma, designed specifically for product teams. Unlike heavy, complex diagramming tools, FigJam is lightweight, fun, and deeply integrated with your design system. It allows teams to brainstorm, run retrospectives, and map out user flows in a space that syncs perfectly with Figma Design files.

Why Use FigJam?

If you are tired of manually organizing hundreds of sticky notes after a workshop, FigJam AI is a lifesaver. It can instantly "Sort" and "Cluster" sticky notes by theme with one click. Plus, the new Jambot widget acts as a creative partner—you can connect it to a sticky note and ask it to "Give me 10 more ideas like this" or "Turn this into a poem," sparking creativity in seconds.

Key Capabilities:

• Generate Boards: Don't start from scratch. Simply type "Create a retrospective board for a failed launch" or "Make a Gantt chart for Q4," and FigJam AI builds the entire template, complete with sections and headers.

• Auto-Sort & Summarize: The killer feature for meetings. Select a messy pile of 50 sticky notes, and the AI will group them into themes (e.g., "Bugs," "Feature Requests") and write a summary of the entire session automatically.

• Jambot: A ChatGPT-powered widget that lives on your board. You can wire it to any text or idea to brainstorm alternatives, rephrase language, or expand on a concept without leaving the canvas.

• Figma Integration: Design and Brainstorm in one loop. You can copy-paste actual UI components from Figma into FigJam to discuss them, and push the final decisions back into Figma without losing fidelity.
